Abdominal Adhesions

Abdominal adhesions are strands of scar tissue that usually form as a complication of surgery. They can cause internal organs to stick to each other or the abdominal wall.

They can be quite serious and you should always call your doctor if you experience severe pain, nausea or vomiting, and an inability to pass gas or have a bowel movement.
