Crohn's disease, together with Ulcerative Colitis, are types of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). While the symptoms of the two are similar, the areas of the intestine affected are quite different. Crohn's disease is most commonly found in the lower portion of the small bowel, but can be found from the mouth to the rectum.
Crohn's Disease cannot be cured, but it can be treated. It is important to get medical treatment as soon as you become concerned about your symptoms. Symptoms can include: diarrhea, bleeding, and abdominal cramping. You may also experience night sweats and fever.
